Toubkal 4 Days Challenge
DAY 1: Marrakech – Imlil –TamatertYour adventure begins with a scenic 1.5-hour drive from Marrakech to Imlil Valley, the starting point of your Mount Toubkal trek. Meet our local trekking team, enjoy a traditional mint tea, and receive a briefing about the route. Then, set off on an acclimatization hike to Tizi Mzik Pass (2,489 m), where a freshly prepared lunch awaits you with spectacular mountain views. After lunch, descend back to Imlil and relax at your guesthouse.
Trekking: approximately 4 hours
Overnight: Imlil Valley
DAY 2: Ait Mizane Valley- Sidi Chamarouch-Toukbal RefugeAfter breakfast, set off along the scenic Aït Mizane Valley, passing through the Berber village of Aremd before continuing to the sacred shrine of Sidi Chamarouch, nestled beside a beautiful waterfall. Enjoy a well-deserved lunch before tackling the steeper trail ahead. The path winds and zigzags through the rugged High Atlas landscape, gradually climbing to the Toubkal Refuge (3,206 m), where you’ll spend the night.
Trekking: approximately 5–6 hours
Overnight: Toubkal Refuge
DAY 3: Jebel Toukbal-Toubkal RefugeAfter an early breakfast, begin your summit push to Mount Toubkal (4,167 m). The trail climbs through the dramatic south cirque, crossing rocky and scree-covered terrain toward the summit. The ascent can be challenging due to the steep scree and high altitude, but the breathtaking mountain views make every step worthwhile. At the summit, enjoy spectacular panoramic views across the High Atlas before taking a short break.
Then, descend along the same route to the Toubkal Refuge, where you’ll enjoy lunch and spend another night.
Trekking: approximately 6–7 hours
Overnight: Toubkal Refuge
DAY 4: Imlil- Marrakechyou will walk back down to Imlil valley via the same route. You will have lunch in Imlil before transfer back to Marrakech. It will take around 4 to 5h walk + 1h30 drive to Marrakech.
